Clipper Terms

The terms that apply when you participate in ClipUp campaigns as a clipper, covering campaign rules, content standards, and payouts.

Last updated: April 2026 · Draft pending final review

1. Eligibility

To participate as a clipper, you must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), able to lawfully receive payments in your country, and able to comply with the rules of each platform you post to (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and others).

2. Campaign briefs and rules

Each campaign you participate in has a specific brief. The brief defines the source content you may use, posting rules, prohibited topics, brand-safety requirements, and the full payout details for that campaign. By submitting clips to a campaign you confirm that you have read the brief and that your clips comply with it.

3. Content standards

Clips you produce and post must:

4. Payouts

Payout details, including the rate, any minimum view thresholds, and caps, are listed in the campaign details for each brief. Verified views must pass our viewbot detection and platform validation before they count toward payout. Payouts are issued weekly through the Whop platform, using any of the payout methods Whop supports for your account.

5. Disqualifications

Submissions may be disqualified, and corresponding payouts withheld, if a clip violates the campaign brief, breaks platform rules, contains artificially inflated metrics (bots, view-trading, etc.), uses unauthorized source material, or otherwise harms the brand running the campaign. Repeated or serious violations may result in removal from the network.

6. Independent contractor relationship

You participate as an independent contractor, not an employee of ClipUp. You are responsible for your own taxes, account management, and compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. ClipUp does not provide benefits, fixed hours, or guaranteed work.

7. Account & data

When you apply, we collect basic information such as name, email, payout method, and platform handles. See our Privacy Policy for how that information is handled.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these clipper terms over time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued participation after an update means you accept the updated terms.
